Nice ride on Thursday, Dodged the weather, I headed out on the Cross bike, luckily packing a tube, cause I got a flat within a mile of my house. Headed to Bike Rack, got a little more air. Headed out to North Jamaica trail rolled the crushed rock, until Roca. Turned off the Homestead trail and headed over to 77. Wind picked up and all of sudden, I'm cruising down the shoulder at 34 or 35 mph (on cross tires), I managed to get back to town very quickly. Got off the shoulder since the State Patrol had a Truck pulled over and didn't really see a way through without getting on the highway and becoming road kill. Got about 30 miles on the odometer, fell asleep on the couch after I got cleaned up. Love Cross bikes for their ability to ride the crushed rock or the tarmac
