Hmmm, Perfect morning, Check. Nice Bike to ride, Check. Someone to Go with, Check. Spacey Wacey Head, Check. Ugh. A textbook perfect day to ride, and I can't barely get enough cognitive function going to get on my bike and go pick up Mr. "B". I start over to his house, and I am a block away before I realize I'm not even wearing my helmet. Ride back and get helmet and get back over to Steves. Criminey! Steve takes pity on me and gives me an espresso. I ask Reg her Stumper of the Day, "If Men are Pigs, then what is Swine flu going to do to us?".
We start out the door, and my bike falls over in the garage doorway, laminating some paint on my top tube, grrrrr!. Steve helpfully suggest a file or a paring knife to scrape it off. Screw it!, I'm just going to ride. We head in a Southernly Direction, and I'm on Coddington and 14th before I'm even starting to think clearly. Ah, Biking cures many ailments. We decide to get in a marathon worth of miles in honor of the Lincoln Marathon being run this morning, and just fail to mention we are riding bikes instead of running. Detour through Pioneers Park for fun, and head back to town. Looks like Public works has improved majorly the bike access to the trail around 9th and Van Dorn, letting you get under the bridge, or through the parks with some new access ramps. Thank you! City of Lincoln. All in all it was a very nice day and we got in around 29.5 miles before I got home, all at a fairly leisurely pace.

I think the lesson here is that delicious bloody mary's are very easy to drink aren't they?
