Will and I made our first bike commute to school. This was his first bike commute. I mentioned We had time to do it this morning, before checking the temperature. Yikes! it was 25 degrees. We went anyway and had a great time. He did very well negotiating all the street crossings and bumps and traffic. We had to walk the last half a block because of all the school dropoff craziness. I ran off to Mickle Middle School to Sub and as soon as school got out, drove home, grabbed my bike and got to school in time to ride home with Will. Very nice and Sunny on the way home. Lots of People at the Roundabout don't know to stop for a pedestrian walkway with lines and flashing light. Will said it was more fun than riding in the car! We are only 1.4 miles from school according to Google Maps. Hopefully we can go Friday as well.
